A 65 years old male patient with a chief complaint of leg swelling and difficulty in breathing.

A 64 years old male patient, farmer by occupation, resident of Miryalaguda, came to our hospital with a chief complaint of  :-

Leg swelling and difficulty in breathing.


History of present illnesses :-

Patient was apparently asymptomatic 1 year ago and developed symptoms of leg swelling and difficulty in breathing and went to near by hospital and he undergone few tests and was resulted with Kidney failure. 3 days ago he had body weakness and back pain which was radiating to legs which is radicular.


History of past illness :-

No history of similar complaints in the past.

He has a history of hypertension.

No history of diabetes mellitus, TB, epilepsy, Asthma, CAD, CVD.


Family history :-

Know family history of hypertension.


Personal history :-

Mixed diet.

Loss of appetite.

Disturbed sleep .

Irregular bowel and bladder movements.


General examinations :-

Patient is conscious, coherent, cooperative and well oriented to time, place and person.

Pallor present.

No Icterus

No Clubbing

No Cyanosis
No Lymphadenopathy
Edema is present 
No Malnutrition
